Airservices aviation fire fighters and staff in Melbourne have raised $16,425.90 during the Good Friday Appeal for the Royal Children’s Hospital.
Across Victoria, the iconic appeal again attracted record donations totalling just over $16.8 million.
Recruit Course 85 rattled tins on Thursday evening at the airport terminals with pleasing results.
On Good Friday, Learning Academy and Social Club representatives and family members joined with Airservices fire fighters to continue collection at the Qantas, Virgin and international terminals. Outside the terminal, a Mk8 fire vehicle and the Morita fire vehicle were on display.
It was the 22nd consecutive year of support.
