Air Chief Marshal Angus Houston AC, AFC (Ret’d) speaks at AAA

Airservices Chair, Air Chief Marshal Angus Houston today addressed the 600 plus delegates at this year’s Australian Airports Association (AAA) National Conference held at the Gold Coast.

The conference was widely attended by delegates from various airports around Australia, key stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

During the presentation, the Chair spoke about Airservices continual journey of transformation through new technologies, growth within the industry, the Metron Harmony ground delay program, satellite-based technology, OneSKY Australia and the need to work collaboratively with industry.

He was joined by an array of high level speakers including Mike Mrdak, Secretary of the Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Jonathan Aleck, Associate Director of Aviation Safety at CASA, Michael Pezzullo, Secretary of the Department of Immigration and Customs and Merren McArthur, Chief Executive Officer of Virgin Australia Regional Airlines.

Airservices is a major sponsor of the AAA National Conference.
